Rockies 7, Dodgers 4: Jimmy Rollins, A Hero

This game sucked.

The Dodgers fell to the Rockies, 7-4, but at least Jimmy Rollins exists.

A day after Madison Bumgarner and Joe West had the most awkward stare-down in baseball history…

…Rollins did the same to West while asking for time after a triple.

And that was about it.

Oh yeah, the miracle out of the bullpen as well.

While Mike Bolsinger allowed seven runs (four earned) over four innings via seven hits (three homers) and two walks, the real story is Ian Thomas and Joel Peralta combining for four shutout innings to follow him. More hilariously? They allowed just two hits and struck out SEVEN.

What? Yes, in real life.

Anyway, the Giants are losing 3-2 to the Athletics. So there’s that. Meanwhile, the Mets won, 12-5.
