Mets @ Dodgers September 5, 2018: Wheeler vs Ryu

It’s very inconsiderate of the CBA to allow early midweek games when no one is around for the thread.

Hyun-Jin Ryu starts for the Dodgers today. He’s good. Chad wrote about it.

Direct all your tweets to him when Ryu gives up seven runs tonight.

Zack Wheeler throws the ball with his right hand. Alex Verdugo draws the start in right, as Yasiel Puig serves the final game of his suspension today. Manny Machado gets a rare day off with a vital three-game set in Colorado starting tomorrow.

Kenley Jansen won’t make the trip to Colorado.

This is much more important than baseball. From a baseball standpoint it makes sense too. If his heart acts up again and he misses another month, he’d miss the rest of the regular season and probably some of the playoffs. Just score 11 runs every game in Colorado, IMO.

Ross Stripling should be back Saturday in Colorado.

Not saying that I want it to happen, but I’ll die of irony if he throws out his back trying to flip his mattress.

——

The Dodger minor league affiliations will remain the same next year.

I try not to disagree with people nicknamed Thor, but strong disagree, Noah. FOH with the wave.

About Alex Campos

I've been writing about the Dodgers since I graduated from Long Beach State, where I covered the Dirtbags in my senior year. I'm either very good or very bad at puns.
