Podcast: ‘Dugout Blues’ episode 102: Zaidi, Hanley, hot stove

On this episode of “Dugout Blues,” Jared Massey (Dodgers Nation) and I get ready for hot stove season. It promises to be a busy one for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers filled out the vast majority of their front office since we last recorded. The addition of Farhan Zaidi is the biggest name hired. His fresh philosophy in the front office will be welcome. Beyond that, we’re both excited for the future of this franchise.

Hanley Ramirez was offered, and turned down, the Dodgers’ qualifying offer. He’s likely done as a Dodger, and he was good. He’ll be missed, but he’s also about to land a big pay day somewhere. Good for him.

As usual, we close with the Q&A. We had a lot of them this week. Please keep them coming.

Look for new episodes of “Dugout Blues” every Wednesday (or every other Wednesday during the offseason). Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast and review us on iTunes. We want to make this the best podcast we can so we’re always looking for suggestions and ways to improve.
