After hitting .423/.429/1.077 (303 wRC+) with five homers in April, Alex Guerrero hit .207/.238/.347 (60 wRC+) with six homers from May 1 on. After a big grand slam against Colorado on June 2, he hit only one more homer in the final four months. He is owed $5 million in each of the next two seasons, can opt out at the end of any season in which he’s traded, and can’t be optioned to the minors.
