Against the right-handed Senzatela, all the normal left-handed batters are starting, besides Max Muncy. Muncy was removed from the game Friday night with quad tightness, and with the division obviously secured, it’s best to just rest him and prevent further injury.

Of 127 qualified starters with at least 100 innings pitched, here’s how Senzatela looks.
Senzatela has been bad. He’s previously been a solid starter with the Rockies, so it’s surprising to see him struggle this badly. He sits 93-95 with his fastball, with his main off-speed pitch being the slider. He’s struggled at Coors Field, (6.53 ERA, .863 OPS allowed) but he’s been even worse on the road (7.17 ERA, .910 OPS allowed). He’s had a tough season, and a matchup against the left-handed heavy Dodgers is not favorable for him.
Of those same 127 qualified starters, here’s how Ryu looks.
Ryu has clearly had a fantastic season. Even with recent regression, he’s locked in as a top ten starter in the league. In his most recent start against the Mets he looked back on track, allowing only two hits over seven innings with no walks. The Colorado offense has some big time guys like Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado, but the offense as a whole isn’t incredibly dangerous. Ryu has a solid opportunity to get another strong start in as we head towards the end of the season.
Ryu vs. Senzatela in Los Angeles is as lopsided a matchup as one could draw up, so expect the Dodgers to lose 12-1. You heard it here first.

Happy 92nd Birthday to the legend himself, Tommy Lasorda.
——
In regards to Muncy, like I mentioned earlier — the Dodgers can have him take three days off if he doesn’t play today, as tomorrow is an off day while they travel to San Diego.
——
Corey Seager has been really good as of late, which is huge as the Dodgers approach the playoffs.

First pitch is at 1:10 PT on SNLA.
