Well, last night’s game was a bit of a clunker. Clayton Kershaw had the worst start of his career against the Giants and, even if he said he was OK with the velocity, his fastball lost about a half MPH from his first start. Not cause for concern, but less encouraging than his first outing.
Today, Walker Buehler gets the call. He hasn’t yet looked like himself in two outings this season. Maybe this is where he gets really right. He has a 2.96 career ERA against ‘Frisco.
