You’re stuck with me for the Game Thread today, but does a rematch of the World Series between the Dodgers and Blue Jays really need that much explaining? Especially this early in the season? I think not.

It’s Justin Wrobleski on the bump — who has his fair share of personal drama in this, at least with Andres Gimenez — facing off against the ageless warrior — except when he has dead arm in the playoffs before he hits free agency — Max Scherzer.

As you may notice, Dalton Rushing is in there again, but apparently it’s just scheduling stuff and Will Smith is fine.
Also, Dodgers flipped the rotation order to have Yamamoto pitch tomorrow and Ohtani on Wed –– which gives him an extra day of rest + lines him up before an off day

We'll likely see more examples of rotation shuffling like that this year as Ohtani returns to full-time 2-way role https://t.co/BKfIQFrckO
Speaking of, Yoshinobu Yamamoto tomorrow and Shohei Ohtani in the series-concluding game (again).

Mookie Betts is on the IL, but he seems optimistic.
Mookie Betts (right oblique) said he already feels "light years ahead of where I thought I was going to be" when he got hurt a couple days ago. Compared with a similar injury to his left side in 2018, he feels that this one is less severe.

The Blue Jays figure to be motivated, so let’s see if the Dodgers match that energy.
