Not sure what exactly happened that I have two Game Threads in a row, but I do, and they happen to be for the Blue Jays series. This one is probably the marquee matchup, with 2025 World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto returning to Toronto to face off against Kevin Gausman in a matchup of the aces.

Will Smith returning to the lineup after a couple games off is probably the most notable change here. Inevitably there will be complaints about Hyeseong Kim not playing, but the Dodgers made it clear Alex Freeland was ahead in the pecking order, and Miguel Rojas was always going to get playing time in Toronto. Come on, now.
