Last night’s game was pretty awful, so let’s just move on from it. Tonight, it’s Zack Greinke‘s turn. Eric Stephen tweeted his post out with the perfect sentence.

Zack Greinke starting at Miller Park usually means good things for the Brewers http://t.co/vu56sjZ58P pic.twitter.com/KNWL3TM6fd
— Eric Stephen (@ericstephen) May 5, 2015
He writes in his post:
“Greinke as a Brewer was 15-0 with a 2.93 ERA in 23 starts at home, with 181 strikeouts and 34 walks in 147⅔ innings. The Brewers won 22 of those 23 starts, and in the only Milwaukee loss Greinke pitched eight scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts.
In the last two years Greinke is 0-2 with an 8.10 ERA at Miller Park, allowing five run in four innings in a start in 2013, and allowing four runs in six innings in a loss last season.”
Fun. Here’s hoping Greinke figures out Miller Park as a visiting pitcher. He is coming off his toughest start of the season, when he allowed three runs and seven hits in six innings (what a bum).

Justin Turner is starting at third base for the third time in five games, while Alex Guerrero is starting in left field for the fourth time in a a week. Don Mattingly was going to have a hard time finding at-bats for everyone, and so far, he’s doing it. Turner has homered in each of his last two starts (good), while Guerrero is 1-for-his-last-12 (three starts) after a blazing start. We all knew Guerrero wasn’t going to keep up the video game-like numbers, but it’d be nice to see him have a solid game sometime soon.

It looks like the Dodgers have chosen a starter for Wednesday’s game, and it isn’t who was expected.
Joe Wieland said he's been told he's starting Wednesday for #Dodgers. Assume Carlos Frias moved back a day to Thursday

Joe Wieland will be the ninth pitcher to start a game for the Dodgers. This is game No. 26. You’d think the Dodgers were floundering, yet they’re 16-9, which is good enough for second-best record in the National League. It’ll be nice when Hyun-Jin Ryu returns healthy and the Dodgers add Johnny Cueto. Until then, the Dodgers’ quality depth is being tested and is passing thus far.
