The last time there was a game thread, we were all panicking over what became the enormous three-way deal with Miami and Atlanta.

Now? Now we’re all ignoring Jose Tabata and worrying about the health of two of the most important players on the team. First, to the housekeeping of how they’re cramming all those players onto the roster…
Added to the active roster:
Gone:
- Justin Turner (DL, thigh infection)
- Mike Bolsinger (optioned to AAA)
- Zach Lee (optioned to AAA)
Mat Latos has not been activated yet, but will be before his start on Sunday, meaning another move is coming. (Likely to cut down what is now a bloated bullpen. Don’t get comfy, Yimi Garcia.) It’s unfortunate for Bolsinger, who has been very good, but there’s just too many players around right now; I’d look at this as a temporary move to get him some work. Wood’s expected to start Tuesday. I think you’ll like him:
Alex Wood told his agent last week that if he ever got an opportunity to pursue a team during free agency, it would be Dodgers.

You’ll notice, also, that Zack Greinke is starting tonight, not Clayton Kershaw. It wouldn’t be unfair to be concerned about Kershaw’s hip. He’s not, apparently:
Kershaw: "Don't need a quote. I'm pitching tomorrow."

Well, then.
