Luis Perdomo held the Marlins to one run in nine innings on Sunday. The Padres got him from the Rule 5 Draft, and despite a rough season, he is very talented and should be a rotation mainstay for them going forward. Luckily for the Dodgers, he isn’t a lefty and hitters from that side of the plate have had success against him this season (.410/.479/.541 in 71 plate appearances).
After two hits in his triumphant return, Yasiel Puig is getting a well-deserved night off. Sure, why not. Here’s hoping Josh Reddick can get things going soon. It was nice to see Joc Pederson get a couple hits, including a home run last night. Here’s hoping that helps him get out of his mini-slump.
Rich Hill, after having his start in Colorado scratched, takes the ball against a Padre lineup that isn’t overpowering by any means. He could be in line for a big game if that wicked curveball is working.
Some news…
Dave Roberts said #Dodgers rotation isn't set beyond Jose De Leon Sunday and Kenta Maeda on Monday

Oh hello, Jose De Leon. He’s here and will start tomorrow. That’s fun!
Corey Seager says his wrist still feels sore, but it is getting better every day.

I’m assuming this is from Monday night in Colorado when Corey Seager was hit by a pitch. If he needs to sit a day or two to get healthy, that’d be just fine.
Trayce Thompson acknowledges chances of playing this season are "dim." Back reexamined earlier this wk. Not cleared for baseball activities
— Bill Plunkett (@billplunkettocr) September 3, 2016
Yeah, a broken back will do that to a guy. Get well, Trayce Thompson.
Also, Clayton Kershaw and Andre Ethier are rehabbing with the Quakes tonight. Keep an eye on Twitter for the results.
