Dodgers @ Rockies July 31, 2019: Ryu vs. Marquez on trade deadline day

It’s getaway day. It’s rubber match day. But let’s be real, it’s trade deadline day. #HugWatch is on high alert, as first pitch is 50 minutes before the 1 p.m. deadline. And remember, there’s no waiver trade deadline this year, so this is it.

This thread is going to be light on info, as we haven’t seen any Dodger trades just yet. But rest assured when they make a deal — and they will — we’ll have it covered.

I will leave you with my gut feeling/prediction for the day.

We’ll see what actually happens. I really want Felipe Vazquez in a Dodger uniform, even if it costs Keibert Ruiz and more.

And here’s a piece of news we all knew was coming.

Welcome back, Dylan Floro. And if he isn’t traded, Tony Gonsolin will be back — hopefully sooner rather than later.
