The Dodgers (93-52) commence their final East Coast road trip of the regular season on Tuesday when they take on the Orioles (46-97) for a three-game series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. With a magic number of 1, the Dodgers look to clinch their 7th straight NL West title in Baltimore. I hope they have their champagne goggles ready.

Walker Buehler (12-3, 3.28 ERA, 2.96 FIP) was roughed up by the Rockies in his last start. He allowed six runs on eight hits including two home runs in five innings. Buehler still got the win thanks to the Dodgers’ bats in the 16-9 wild ride.
Buehler’s been much more effective at home (2.64 ERA) than on the road (4.01 ERA). This will be his first career start vs. Baltimore. He’s 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA and 1.061 WHIP in five career interleague starts.
Ty Blach (1-2, 10.95 ERA, 6.49 FIP) was selected off waivers from the Giants by the Orioles on August 3. He’s no stranger to the Dodgers. We all remember him shutting out the Dodgers for five innings in 2018 on Opening Day. Overall, the left-hander is 4-2 with a 2.82 ERA and 1.203 WHIP in 13 career games (seven starts) against the Dodgers.
The Dodgers clobbered Blach back on April 30 when he was still with the Giants. He allowed seven runs on seven hits including two homers in 3.1 innings. A.J. Pollock is 3-for-8 (.375) with a double and a home run vs. Blach. Pollock leads off in the series opener. Chris Taylor, Enrique Hernandez and Justin Turner have all homered against him as well.
Blach may have a 10.95 ERA this season, but for some reason he turns into “Cy” Blach when he faces the Dodgers.

The Dodgers recalled Edwin Rios from Triple-A Oklahoma City today.
The Dodgers announced they recalled Edwin Ríos. Last week, Dave Roberts said they weren’t going to add anyone from OKC after Austin Barnes so something seemingly changed those plans.

The Orioles have had a abysmal season, and they’re coming into the series having lost five straight. At home, they’re 22-50. Their misery at Camden Yards may continue when they have to watch the Dodgers celebrate a division title at their park.
There’s always better #Content when the Dodgers celebrate at home, and for the first time in seven seasons Yasiel Puig won’t be there to partake in the festivities for our entertainment. Nevertheless, a NL West division clinch on September 10 is a lot less stressful than a clinch after a Game 163.
We all remember Buehler’s reaction when they clinched last year.
