The Dodgers have now signed two-thirds of their 2020 MLB Draft selections after inking 2nd-rounder Landon Knack on Monday.

Yay, Knackers!
Word is he’ll be added to the 60-man roster for the 2020 season. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll see game action, but at least he’ll get to train and practice with his fellow (mostly) prospects. There’s an outside chance he sees LA, depending how things go … if things go.

As expected, the two remaining unsigned Dodger draftees comes down to Beeter and Vogel. Both will sign, it’s just a matter of time.
I don’t think there’s much of a chance Vogel sees Los Angeles in this weird season, but Beeter has a very good chance of doing so. Once he signs, I’m sure he’ll be a candidate for the 60-man roster (which currently sits at 51).
Bonus Pool
The Dodgers have saved almost $950,000 against the pool. That’s all going toward signing Beeter and Vogel.
Here are the penalties, should the Dodgers go more than 5 percent over their signing bonus pool.

The Dodgers can go up to $296,419 (5 percent, less $1) over their allotted slot amount of $5,928,400 without losing a draft pick. No team has ever exceeded this bonus pool since this system was implemented in 2012, and it isn’t going to happen now.
Teams have until Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. Pacific time to sign their draftees.
