Dodgers @ Cubs April 12, 2017: Series resumes after odd day off

The Dodgers and Cubs had an off day in the middle of the series on Tuesday. It was odd, but whatever. Now, here’s hoping the ring ceremony the Cubs are having comes in at fewer than 60 minutes so the game can actually start on-time.

Good news: The Dodgers aren’t facing a left-handed pitcher.
Bad news: They’re without Justin Turner, who is out with a sore quad that he hurt late in the game on Monday night.

Also, Franklin Gutierrez was placed on the disabled list with a hamstring strain. He’s a #TrueDodger. Trayce Thompson was recalled to take his spot on the roster. I’d bet good money he’ll start in center field tomorrow afternoon.

That’s about it, as this is a quickie game thread. I’m so over the Cubs, so a win tonight would be splendid.
