Red Sox @ Dodgers October 28, 2018: World Series Game 5, Price vs. Kershaw

This series is over. Not officially, mind you, but after last night’s … whatever that was … this is done. The Dodgers choked, again, in the postseason. On the biggest stage. It’s getting old.

If you can’t tell, this won’t be a happy, optimistic or cheerful thread. It won’t be very long, either.

The season is on the line with Clayton Kershaw on the mound. We’ve heard those words before, and we know how it usually ends.

I’m defeated. You probably are too. Watch this game if you want. If you have better things to do, no one would fault you. I’m gonna work on tomorrow’s post resetting the 40-man roster after another disappointing end to a season.

If there’s one thing we can not be disappointed about, it’s Rich Hill.
