The Dodgers didn’t hit much today either, but the difference was the pitching staff got back on track, shutting down the Diamondbacks in a 3-0 victory.

The offense was provided by basically two guys: Corey Seager and Trea Turner.
Two solo shots for Seager and one for Trea accounted for all three runs.

This is @coreyseager_5‘s 100th career home run and his second of the game! pic.twitter.com/8jelbTTudg
Realistically though, it’s September 26 and the bats are still hitting like a below-average offense. I mean, it was the Diamondbacks and they still couldn’t put it together.
The reason they won today, like for most of the year, is the pitching staff.
Julio Urias twirled five scoreless innings to get the starters back on track, then Justin Bruihl, Joe Kelly, Corey Knebel, and Kenley Jansen shut the door down the stretch.

100 wins!
But the Giants also won so they remain 2 games ahead in the NL West.
A day off tomorrow and then welcoming the newly-eliminated Padres at home.
