Down to Miguel Rojas at shortstop, the Dodgers called up Luke Williams, making room for him by putting Daniel Hudson on the 60-day IL and having Mookie Betts go on the paternity list.

The Dodgers selected the contract of IF Luke Williams and placed Mookie Betts on the paternity list.

In order to make room for Williams on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers placed RHP Daniel Hudson on the 60-day injured list.

Chris Taylor, who injured his side yesterday, says he hopes he can avoid the IL.

Taylor said he’s never had an oblique issue, but knows those can spiral if you try to play through it. So that’s what encouraged him to speak up last night more than the degree of the discomfort.
