The Dodgers are losers of their last two games and three of their last four, landing them with a losing record for the first and hopefully only time this year. They look to stop that streak behind Clayton Kershaw tonight against the Mets.

Down to Miguel Rojas at shortstop, the Dodgers called up Luke Williams, making room for him by putting Daniel Hudson on the 60-day IL and having Mookie Betts go on the paternity list.

The Dodgers selected the contract of IF Luke Williams and placed Mookie Betts on the paternity list.

In order to make room for Williams on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers placed RHP Daniel Hudson on the 60-day injured list.

Will Smith is feeling better (thank god), but is a bit away from returning.

Chris Taylor, who injured his side yesterday, says he hopes he can avoid the IL.

Taylor said he’s never had an oblique issue, but knows those can spiral if you try to play through it. So that’s what encouraged him to speak up last night more than the degree of the discomfort.
