Dodgers celebrate winning an incredible (and surprisingly improbable) 2024 World Series

The Dodgers and Yankees met in the 2024 World Series with the two soon-to-be reigning MVPs, and the only thing bad about that was it made Rob Manfred happy.

Fortunately, the Dodgers did not make bad history after getting ahead 3-0 in the series, and they never got the chance thanks to a Game 5 meltdown of epic proportions by the Yankees instead. As such, the Dodgers get to celebrate being the 2024 World Series Champions.

What a fucking reaction by Walker Buehler.

“Did you expect anything else?”

Once the team surrounded him, he was … more intense, lol.

Note: I’ll be adding as I find more.

======

Okay, let’s start with the reactions to the final pitch and the immediate aftermath.

The presentation ceremony was next up, where of course Dave Roberts was ready.

Then there was Freddie Freeman being the 2024 World Series MVP … the most obvious choice ever.

Thought it was interesting to get a peek at authentication process for the final out ball.

——

Alright, now we’re into the real stuff going down in the clubhouse.

Leading up to the explosion was a Dave speech to the team, and then … well, chaos.

Truly letting it loose now.

——

Buehler … my god, what an effort, what a legend.

Shohei Ohtani battled with his health this World Series, but he carried the team for most of the year.

Freddie, of course, was also right there.

Enrique Hernandez censored himself since the previous “incident”, but I have a feeling he won’t later (at the parade).

Yoshinobu Yamamoto was basically as advertised after the first playoff start glitch.

Dave is definitely getting his flowers now.

Michael Kopech, what a turnaround since coming over in the trade.

Brusdar Graterol coming back just in time for the World Series was huge.

Ditto for Alex Vesia.

Since he’s not playing, Clayton Kershaw has really just been enjoying his time with the team during the playoffs (plus a key Austin Barnes cameo).

——

The interviews were drenched with emotion, understandably so.

Mookie Betts detailed what led up to the go-ahead run and wanting to fight that Yankees fan.

Buehler gives the 2020 deniers a fuck you (and so does Blake Treinen).

Speaking of, Treinen makes Buehler an honorary member of The Dawgs.

Freddie had another moment with his dad.

Enrique explained why this is so special to him.

Dave discussed the fight this team showed, his convo with Treinen in the big moment, and keeping the team’s focus away from potentially blowing a 3-0 lead.

——

Picture time!

The reactions from around the world were nuts, perhaps a bit too much so, lol.

——

You knew it was coming … memes and pettiness.

======

Yo, the parade!

There’s gonna be a lot more to come from that, man.

Just getting settled right now, honestly.

Also, while using an ad to close things out seems weird … this was great.
