Dodgers @ Guardians May 27, 2025: May makes his final start of May

The Dodgers started their series in Cleveland strong, with a 7-2 win in the opener. Shohei Ohtani opened the game with a first pitch homer and Yoshinobu Yamamoto turned in six strong innings to lead the Dodgers to their 33rd win. They look for number 34 today as they seek a series win with Dustin May on the mound against Tanner Bibee.

Dalton Rushing gets the start behind the plate with a 10:10 AM PT game tomorrow. Tommy Edman returns to the lineup at second with Andy Pages in center.

Not much on the update front, but Emmet Sheehan made a surprising return to the mound in the ACL last night.

Sheehan struck out five of the six batters he faced over two perfect innings and 20 of his 29 pitches went for strikes. He’s still a ways away from returning, but definitely an encouraging outing.

First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 PM PT and will be shown on SportsNet LA.
