Dodgers celebrate a nice and comfortable road to the NL West title in 2026

After two years in a row of relatively hard-fought NL West titles in 2024 and 2025, things felt a bit more comfortable this year in 2026 despite an awfully familiar slump in August. Sorta like those years, the Dodgers are still facing a ton of questions, this time mostly due to injuries, and they usually use those questions to play better in the playoffs. Hopefully that continues.

It’s a remarkable 13th NL West title in 14 years, and 14 years in a row for the playoffs, something you should never take for granted as fans.

As usual, they had fun celebrating it, but they aren’t going crazy either.

======

Dave Roberts kicked things off with a speech…

…including a premature explosion.

The champagne antics, including Miguel Rojas‘ bell and Enrique Hernandez getting a bottle so deep into Yoshinobu Yamamoto‘s pants that he couldn’t get it out.

——

Max Muncy talks about not taking it for granted.

Miguel Rojas gives a shoutout to Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages, lol.

He also was grateful for the support his teammates have showed him over the years.

Freddie Freeman does the same, gives props to fans, and gets drenched by Dave Roberts.

Kyle Tucker actually has a great time when Blake Snell tries to drown David Vassegh.

Most fun he’s had all year is watching Vassegh near death.

Tarik Skubal and Blake Snell are basically besties now.

Mookie Betts thanks fans for sticking with him and gets got a ton.

It included a bald jab and him … getting a facial.

Josue De Paula just seemed happy to be here and contributing.

Alex Vesia interrupted Evan Phillips‘ interview and talked about his stock and generic answers.

Andrew Friedman gave me the annual sus pic…

…and talked about the promise of the next month.

Incredible direction for the pictures.

Nine games to go … and then (hopefully) 11 more after that.

Prepare yourselves.
