Dodgers celebrate a hard-fought NL West title in 2024

Hello and welcome to the celebration recap for the Dodgers winning a surprisingly (?) hard-fought 2024 NL West title, which makes it 11 of the last 12 for them.

After the initial celebration was over, they gathered on the field for a team picture.

Then the real stuff began in the clubhouse, starting with the usual pre-speech shenanigans…

…leading into the Dave Roberts speech, after which the festivities kicked off in earnest.

Of course, a lot of the attention was put on Shohei Ohtani, who certainly seemed to be enjoying the celebration.

Also noteworthy, his wife and their child, Decoy, was there.

Meanwhile, Andrew Friedman was doing interviews in the clubhouse, talking about expectations and swearing it up…

…while also talking about getting peppered with baby powder by Enrique Hernandez.

Allegedly.

Dave had a great quote as well, talking about enjoying beating the Padres.

Really though, one of the best moments was Gavin Lux talking about Walker Buehler‘s genitalia, and Max Muncy inquiring on the mystery of David Vassegh‘s dryness.

Speaking of, Buehler was honest about what he had tonight, but he got it done anyway (and also had a cute moment with his kid afterward).

Surprisingly, I didn’t see a lot of Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the broadcast, but Miguel Rojas made sure to hunt him down.

Yamamoto was suffering, lol.

Rojas also got Clayton Kershaw involved.

Kevin Kiermaier, well, he really seemed to be enjoying himself.
