After taking the first game of the series, the Dodgers have lost in very Coors Field ways in the previous two games. Now, they send Kenta Maeda to the hill to try to earn a split with the Rockies.

The Dodgers have now dropped two straight to the Rockies after having won the previous 12 games (dating back to last season).
And there’s also this not-so-surprising statistic.
The lineup is a bit wonky today, with Matt Beaty playing right field, Chris Taylor batting third and Edwin Rios getting his first taste of third base at the MLB level. We’ll see if this lineup can out-slug the Rockies’ lineup, which has put up 18 runs in the last two games.

One bit of news regarding a couple rehabbing Dodgers in David Freese and A.J. Pollock.
Cool.
