Guess no one claimed the recap. So, this is what you get. (Plus, I’m sick.)

======

Walker Buehler didn’t have his longest outing, but was quality for the most part in a solid start: 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 4 K, 91 Pitches.

Offensively, the Dodgers managed to get it done again. They scored within the first two batters behind a Mookie Betts double and Freddie Freeman single in the 1st.

Then after going quiet for a bit, they exploded in the 4th behind a Will Smith double, Max Muncy single, and then JT staying hot with his fourth homer of the year, a three-run shot.

They weren’t done either, as a Cody Bellinger double followed and was cashed in by Gavin Lux for a 5-3 lead.

From there the pen mostly took care of business down the stretch

Justin Bruihl got a scoreless 6th, but Brusdar Graterol gave up a run and only got two outs in the 7th. No worries as recently activated David Price got four outs to setup Daniel Hudson for the save in the 9th.

Dodgers are 25-12.

They travel to Philadelphia for a 4-gamer against the Bryce Harper’s.
