Dodgers @ Giants – June 11, 2022: Clayton Kershaw Returns

Unfortunately for all of you readers, you’re stuck with another Game Thread from me as everybody else died over the weekend or something.

Anyway, it’s exciting not just for the sake of the rivalry but because it marks the return of Clayton Kershaw from another back injury, and with Walker Buehler recently heading to the DL, Kershaw’s health is more important than ever now.

The Giants pen game will start with Sam Long, who has a 2.35 ERA and 4.05 FIP in 15.1 innings this year, mostly in relief. Time to own the Dodgers, probably.

Andrew Heaney could rejoin the Dodgers as soon as Sunday, Dave Roberts said. Will make a rehab start with Tulsa on Tuesday.
