Meanwhile, Blake Snell is on pace for a tune-up start against the Giants later on, while Roki Sasaki will likely take one of those open slots against the Padres.

Dave Roberts said Blake Snell is trending well. He doesn’t look likely to pitch in the San Diego series and is more likely to pitch in the final series of the year at San Francisco.
